La Flamenco International Fashion Chair Flamentex has starred in one of the most vibrant moments of the catwalk We Love Flamenco, held from January 14th to 21st in Seville. Before a full house that packed the Hotel Alfonso XIIIThirteen emerging designers have demonstrated that specialized training in the Seville Higher School of Fashion – ESSDM It is the driving force behind the sector's avant-garde, fusing lingerie techniques, Lorca-inspired design, and punk aesthetics on a single catwalk.

The parade stood out for its rich and heterogeneous visual narrative, where each creator contributed the essence of their origin and their particular vision of the regional costume:

  • Javier Borjas (Villaverde del Río, Seville): He opened the catwalk with “Miguelito”, an emotional ode to the Triana of the tenement courtyards and ceramics, inspired by the pure art of the Triana Pura group.
  • Alba Carmona (Alcorcón, Madrid): He presented “Eterna”, where the sophistication of the 20s merges with flamenco in silhouettes full of luxury and vintage soul.
  • Purebred Soul (Valdemorillo, Madrid): Under the signature of Ana Castells, “The gallery of time” transported the public to the 18th century with a structured corsetry of palatial air.
  • Adrian Barrios (Olivares, Seville): With his collection “Torbellino”, he rescued the grit of the great folk singers and the color of costumbrista painting in a proposal of great visual force.
  • Ricardo Gomez (Villamartín, Cádiz): He invited reflection with “Hold”, exploring human bonds through silhouettes that speak of union, balance and permanence.
  • Lola Martín (Seville): She presented “Nomad”, a visual journey that draws from Frida Kahlo and the gypsy aesthetic, standing out for the lightness of its gauzes and floral prints.
  • Adelino Pérez (Lebrija, Seville): She defended “LA RAÍZ”, a brave proposal where lingerie and corsetry reinterpret the regional costume from a contemporary and comfortable perspective.
  • Itina x Rocío Pérez (Seville): With “SAUDADE”, she paid tribute to her family origins by recovering bobbin lace and antique petticoats in a classic and vibrant pattern.
  • María Giménez by Antonio González (Guazamara, Almería): He brought Lorca's universe to the catwalk with "Skin of Silence", a collection of great dramatic charge that explores identity and mystical folklore.
  • Lucía Sarhan (Málaga): In “Souls of the Nightfall”, he achieved a perfect union between the strength of the Andalusian steering wheel and the delicacy of the symbolism of Japanese culture.
  • Matildina (Daimiel, Ciudad Real): Elvira Pérez from Madrid broke the mold with “El Perro Andaluz”, a punk-rock fusion inspired by Albertucho that mixes denim fabric with handcrafted shawls.
  • Isabela Studio (Granada): Designer Teresa Ortiz presented “Flamenca Déco”, a fascinating dialogue between the freedom of women in the 20s and the most sophisticated flamenco style.
  • Vitorita (Málaga): Paula Sánchez closed the day with “Encuentro”, an explosion of spring color and eighteenth-century technique that celebrates the soul of the Andalusian pilgrimage.

The success of this collective fashion show at We Love Flamenco not only confirms the talent of its participants, but also positions the Flamentex International Chair of Flamenco Fashion as The ultimate platform for professionalization and innovation in flamenco fashion design on a global level.
