The tenth edition of the Heritage Festival Flamenco It will be held in Cádiz from August 2 to 10, 2025, offering a program that combines tradition and avant-garde in emblematic venues of the city.
The Deputy Mayor for Culture, Maite González, together with the Director of the Cádiz Theatres, Pepe Bedoya, have announced the municipal programmes that will take place during the months of July and August, including the concerts in the Santa Catalina Castle, such as the Classical Nights and the Heritage Festival Flamenco.
The summer program includes a total of 17 shows in different spaces of the city, of which 12 will be free to the publicThe Deputy Mayor for Culture, Maite González, highlighted the commitment to "a cultural program that serves as an alternative to what will be offered in other venues in the city; programs that will allow for the presentation of different styles of music, and that are becoming increasingly powerful and enjoying the support of the public, who fill these venues every year."
FLAMENCO
The tenth edition of the FSummer Heritage Flamenco will be held from August 2 to 10 in different locations in the capital of Cadiz and will have four balconies flamencoand five large-scale shows that will take place at the Santa Catalina Castle.
The balconies will be on August 2nd at the Great Falla Theater, with Esmeralda Rancapino and Manoli de Gertrudis; on August 4 at the Mentidero Square, with Rocío Fantova and Morenito de Illora Jr.; on August 5th with José Méndez and Nuria Carrasco; and closing with Macarena "La Negra" and Cisco "Sinelando" on Thursday, August 7th.
The shows at the castle will be on Sunday, August 3, with a performance by Marco Flores, who will present 'Vengo jondo'; on Wednesday, August 6, with the artist Josemi Carmona and his show 'My Life, My Music'; on Friday, August 8, it will be Ángeles Toledano's turn to present her album 'Dirty Blood'; on Saturday, August 9, Lela Soto and Sebastián Cruz will take the stage to present 'War on All That'; and on Sunday, August 10, the closing performance will be by Jesús Méndez and Rafael de Utrera, two highly accomplished singers who have toured the world.
