WHEN THE FLAMENCO UNITES THE WORLD
Murcia beats to the rhythm of flamenco
A cultural and media event that brings together schools, artists and young talents from all over the world in Murcia.
El International Meeting of Schools of Flamenco and Spanish Dance It has established itself as an event with significant cultural and media impact. Its latest edition, held in The Union (March 2025), brought together more than 500 participants already more than 20 national and international schools coming from countries like Mexico, Switzerland and Italy, among others.
Its main objective is to promote artistic exchange among young people, schools and artists through:
- World-class showswith benchmark productions such as Dead of Love by Manuel Liñán.
- Training with great figures of flamenco and Spanish dance, who pass on their experience to new generations.
- School galaswhere students have the opportunity to showcase their talent in professional settings.
- Young Talent Competition, a platform that boosts the careers of emerging artists.
One of the highlights was the Desplante Award Winners Gala, which brought together for the first time in history ten award winners of this prestigious competition, becoming a unique milestone within the scene flamenco.
