At the event, the public officials have highlighted the educational part of the Festival, which has scheduled a series of workshops aimed at 3rd year ESO students to promote among the student community the knowledge, appreciation and development of flamenco.

And for this reason, composition and percussion workshops have been designed that will bring young people closer to art. jondo. On the one hand, the composition work will be carried out by the project 'La Palabra Itinerante' and the writers and poets José María Gómez Valero and David Eloy Rodríguez, who will propose writing their own lyrics based on their personal experiences and through specific games and exercises. This work will help them to learn the metrics, themes and logic of some palos of the flamenco, such as soleás, bulerías or tangos. To close the workshop, contemporary artist Patricio Hidalgo will illustrate the result of the compositions live.

The flamenco box is another of the elements that will allow the students of Camas to approach the flamenco. Taught by 'Latidos Música y Danza', this workshop will teach the basic keys to learning to play the cajón flamenco and, in parallel, know the rhythms.
