The selected contestants will face one of the selective tests that will be carried out during these months throughout the country, from which the semi-finalists will be chosen, who will meet in La Unión on August 6, 7 and 8. The Grand Final of the contests will take place on Saturday the 9th, which will reveal the new names who will win the 'Lámpara Minera' trophies (the highest award in the category of cante flamenco which includes the cash prize of €15000), 'Bordón Minero' (top award in the flamenco guitar category), 'Desplante' (top award in the dance category, both male and female) and 'Filón' (top award in the instrumentalists category flamencos)
