Authentic Flamenco presents its fourth international program focused, this time, on the United States and Canada.

Dance will be the focus of this edition, led by the extraordinary Ángeles Gabaldón and Patricia Donn, dancers of outstanding talent and virtuosity who offer different perspectives on this universal art form.

Between May 9 and June 28, the tour will visit 21 cities, four in Canada and seventeen in the United States.
Madrid, April 24, 2025.- The fourth edition of the event will begin on May 9th. Authentic Flamenco, a project of Royal Theatre y Fever, in artistic co-production with SOLARIUM, with which they intend to disseminate and promote art flamenco within and outside our borders, by the hand of the most representative artists of this unique art.
This edition will focus on the north of the American continent, where it will visit eighteen cities in United States – Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orange County, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Tampa, Tucson and Washington DC – and three in In Canada – Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver – from coast to coast.
Two women's names headline the lineup of a dance-themed tour: Angels Gabaldon y Patricia Donna, two artists with solid academic preparation who will contribute two different ways of looking at and offering the flamenco, rooted in a unique feeling of emotions that speak the same language with different accents.
Born in Seville, Angels Gabaldon She began her dance studies at the age of ten, culminating in a degree in Spanish Dance and Classical Ballet from the Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Sevilla. She consolidated her knowledge with the best teachers in Seville and Madrid - Matilde Coral, Manolo Marín, Merche Esmeralda, Eva Yerbabuena and Juana Amaya, to name a few - and was awarded the First National Prize for Best Choreography for Alegrías de la Perla de Cádiz and the First National Prize for “El Desplante 2002” at the International Dance Festival. Patricia Donna He soon left his native Granollers to study at the school of flamenco Paca García, in Barcelona, after studying classical, contemporary, and classical Spanish dance, which makes her one of the best prepared of her generation, knowledge that, combined with her spirit and natural talent, make her a unique dancer. Her teachers have included Eva Yerbabuena, Antonio Canales, Lola Greco, Farruquito, and Gala Vivancos, among others, and she won First Prize in the Competition Flamenco Tablao Las Carboneras in Madrid (2018).
Since its creation in 2022, Authentic Flamenco has made eleven tours, visiting more than twenty countries, captivating 275.000 spectators from latitudes and cultures as diverse as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, China, Korea, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
Great representatives of the cante, touch and dance have demonstrated, in 836 performances on international stages, the ability to transmit emotions, amaze with technique, show beauty and move from the depths of art. flamenco.
