The Córdoba Guitar Festival has begun selling tickets for its 45th edition, which will take place from July 1st to 11th, 2026, with a preview program as a new feature. The president of the Córdoba Municipal Institute of Performing Arts (IMAE), Isabel Albás, announced on Tuesday a dozen shows that will be held in Córdoba's municipal theaters, and tickets are available starting today, Thursday, January 29th, at 1:00 PM at the Gran Teatro box office and online. teatrocordoba.es.
Advance ticket sales begin this Thursday and run until February 28. The first tickets allocated for each venue (100 for the Gran Teatro and Teatro Góngora, and 200 for the Teatro de la Axerquía) will have a 20% discount. Additionally, the IMAE is resuming its pay-as-you-go subscription service and other discounts for various groups, which are detailed on the ticketing website.
Starting this Thursday, tickets are on sale for a total of ten concerts, two of which are exempt from these discounts: Siloé and Loquillo. Both concerts, which will take place at the Teatro de la Axerquía, have a single ticket price.
The highlight of this year's festival is the opening program featuring guitarist and Córdoba native Vicente Amigo at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba on June 25th and 26th. Then, on June 27th, Brothers in Band will perform at the same theater with their musical tribute to Dire Straits, a new show commemorating the 40th anniversary of the iconic album Brothers in Arms.
Likewise, the Gran Teatro de Córdoba will feature one of the world's leading guitarists, Teddy Bautista, with 'Ciclos 5.0. El periplo de las héroes' on July 3rd, with Pablo Salinas as musical director. On July 4th, fellow guitarist and renowned figure José Antonio Rodríguez will perform, along with a quintet of artists, a program encompassing the world of flamenco with a modern perspective. On July 11, the dance show La Reina Blanca arrives in homage to the Cordoban flamenco dancer Blanca del Rey.
The Teatro Góngora, for its part, will host Leo&Leo on July 10, a unique project led by actress and singer Leonor Watling and musician and composer Leo Sidran, with songs that mix pop, jazz and a conversational stage presence.
Finally, the highly anticipated nights at the Axerquía Theatre will feature indie and Spanish rock icons Love of Lesbian, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana (along with Córdoba's own Aslándticos), and Valladolid's Siloé, who will perform in Córdoba on July 1, 2, and 5, respectively. On July 4, metal fans have an unmissable date with Warcry, in their only concert in Andalusia, and Angelus Apatridas. Loquillo joins the lineup on July 9 with his Corazones Legendarios tour.
