The union of the flamenco singer, son of the project's creator Enrique Morente, and the Granada-based band recreates live one of the essential albums in Spanish musical history.
The tour will stop in Madrid (Noches del Botánico, June 3, sold out), Córdoba (July 11), Marbella (August 15, Starlite Festival) and Barcelona (Barcelona Jazz Festival, October 30).
Madrid, March 16, 2026. OmegaThe legendary album that marked a turning point in Spanish music turns 30. The work born from the visionary minds of Enrique Morente and Lagartija Nick was released in December 1996, giving rise to a myth and paving a new path. The union of flamenco And rock, a blend of tradition and experimentation, of Lorca's poems with Leonard Cohen, was one of those milestones that much of the public takes time to grasp. Ignored and undervalued by some, it was later recognized as a step forward and a work ahead of its time. To celebrate the three decades since that album, Omega He returns to the stage with his co-creators, Lagartija Nick, and the best possible disciple of the late Enrique Morente, his son Kiki Morente.
Omega's 30th anniversary album once again blends the traditional and the avant-garde, the old and the new, in this union of Kiki Morente's youthful energy and Lagartija Nick's veteran experience. A return to the stage where the album is revisited almost in its entirety and expanded with songs that were left off the original release. A reinterpretation that stays true to its essence while preserving the same groundbreaking and daring character of the original.
