With the participation of Carmen Werner, Cesc Gelabert, La Ribot and Mónica Runde, and moderated by the journalist Javier Torres, The meeting invites reflection on how the passage of time changes our relationship with our bodies, our way of being on stage, and how in an era marked by ageism and the exaltation of youth, continuing to dance after the age of six is an act of resistance.
In the afternoon, starting at 19:30 p.m.The public will be able to participate in "Because I Dance It," a huge collective party that will transform Nave 11 into a dance floor open to everyone. With live music, DJs, chotis (a traditional Spanish dance), guest companies, and various artistic interventions, the audience will cease to be spectators and become protagonists of the celebration. Under the direction of Enrique Cabrera (Aracaladanza), a leading figure in the field of contemporary dance for all audiences, the party is conceived as an artistic and festive gathering that emphasizes play, imagination, and participation.
