It's a matter of the peñaflamenco dancers, with their fans, open the doors of its stages so that flamenco youth can express their cante and to do that training that is so necessary to develop, perfect and conquer the other side, which is reached with work and determination, where the title of singer is obtained. The role that the peñas have been historically taking place on that path. In particular, I am speaking to you about the night of Saturday, October 4, when Torres Macarena, fulfilling this noble principle, received with great interest the recital of the young woman from Granada Hope Garrido, and the same with the young guitarist from Seville Juan Anguita. The two undoubtedly make a promising artistic duo. This isn't the first time Esperanza has set foot on this peña, but she is the first to do so as a singer ahead with a large-format recital, in two parts.

Esperanza Garrido began her greeting with the sweetness of her character, shy and nervous at the same time, ready to give everything she had inside. The milonga, You are my life and my light… Brunette of my loves. The melodic, lyrical and well-tuned voice of this young promise of cante who carries in her genes all the Moorish traditions of Granada, niece of Eva la Yerbabuena, and outstanding student of the current class at the Cristina Hëeren Foundation. And the first part of the recital continued with cantes de levante, bulerías por soleá and tangos from Granada in which he paid tribute to the maestro Dying, with the accompaniment to the palmas of two other young people, Pepe Nunez y Ricardo Anguita.

The second part begins with a large and small petenera, A flower without water dries up… and the classic I would like to deny… Repertoire by Cantiñas, Granaína and its media and seguiriya with a cabal finish. In the encores, he gives an already satisfied audience a couple of fandangos in which the one of Titmouse With tears, sorrows go away...

Esperanza Garrido showed that she has the qualities to cante and that his way is the flamenco Orthodox. He received special acclaim from the public cante What did through granaínas, where the young woman let out the knowledge of her own and nativeAnd we can also highlight the seguiriyas, to which he gave respect for the cante and by her family, who accompanied her last night, proud to see the young woman on the stage Torres Macarena.

Also worth mentioning is the modern and perfectly executed accompaniment of guitarist Juan Anguita, who trained with great masters of flamenco guitar, especially Sevillian guitar, and who always knew how to perform at the same level and with great complicity with the singer. We wish both of them a long and successful career. flamenco.
