After more than a decade performing together, our guests have just released their first solo album. Titled 'Loyalty', el cante de José Montoya Carpio 'Berenjeno'and the guitar of Manuel Heredia They demonstrate their exceptional artistic understanding in an album rooted in tradition but with some windows open to current times.
In this meeting, and guided by its protagonists, we learn all the details of the work, which has also featured lyrics by Rafael Lorente Herrera'Loyalty' draws on a classic repertoire; not surprisingly, José Berenjeno comes from one of the most prolific dynasties of the cante from the Plazuela de Jerez. We also talked about the presentation of the work that took place within the framework of the last edition of the Jerez Festival.
