The Sevillian town of Arahal is preparing once again to host a new edition of the Memorial to the Girl of the Combs – Al Gurugú, which will reach its twenty-third edition in 2025. The festival, established as a must-attend event on the Andalusian cultural calendar, will once again be held over two consecutive weekends: June 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 14.
The event was presented on Tuesday, May 20 at the Seville headquarters of the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco by the first deputy mayor and delegate for Culture, Alberto SanromanHe was accompanied there by the director of the institution, Christopher Ortega, and the artists Aurora Vargas, Manuel de la Tomasa, Dani de Morón and La Tremendita, who are part of the festival's cast.

The Al Gurugú Festival kicks off on Thursday, June 5th with a day dedicated to local artists, with performances by Rosario Muñoz, Antonio López and Jesús Carrillo, accompanied on guitar by Manuel Jesus Carrillo y Eduardo Rebollar.
On Friday, June 6, the singer Manuel de la Tomasa and the guitarist David of Arahal present their show CircumnavigationBoth performances will be held at the Municipal Theatre at 21,30:10 p.m., with admission for XNUMX euros.
