The CaixaBank Soho Theatre hosts the sixth edition of Flamenco in Soho

The Malaga cycle offers intimate encounters such as those of Farruquito and Manuel Lombo, as well as new proposals from Argentina, Marina Heredia and La Compañía Flamenca La Lupi.

Malaga has once again become a cultural epicenter with the presentation of the new season of Soho CaixaBank Theatre, which is celebrating its now essential cycle for the sixth consecutive year Flamenco in SohoA project born from the alliance between the Teatro del Soho CaixaBank and Green Cow Music, determined to position the flamenco in the place that corresponds to it, even more so in a year that marks the 15th anniversary of its declaration as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Thus, the 2026 edition begins on January 16 and runs until May 9, bringing together some of the biggest names in the genre, such as Farruquito, Manuel Lombo, Argentina, Marina Heredia and La Lupi with her company,
who will bring to the Soho stage everything from intimate recitals to new projects born from collaborative processes and artistic research.

The new edition of the cycle will be inaugurated on January 16, 2026 with Farruquito & Quintet Flamenco, a show of canteA rhythm and dance that invites you to feel without filters, to let go and listen to your heart. Conceived from honesty, the proposal is born as a gesture of dedication to the public seeking a flamenco Pure and human, without artifice, where emotion is the true guiding thread. For sixty minutes, the stage becomes a living journey through seguiriya, a solo performance. cante Through tangos, alegrías, a guitar solo, soleá, and a festive finale, the concert unfolds, born from the streets, the people, and the artists' own experiences. Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya 'Farruquito' is accompanied by Manuel valencia at the touch, Ismael de la Rosa 'El Bola', Manuel de la Nina y Mari Vizarraga al cante, and Paco Vega in percussion.

The Granada-born cantaora Marina Heredia, one of the most prominent voices of her generation, arrives at the Teatro del Soho on March 12 with In freedom. Manuel Lombo It invites us to an intimate and moving experience with Piano and VoiceA performance that transcends the traditional concert, becoming an open conversation between the artist, the music, and the audience at the Teatro del Soho on March 27th. Lombo explores loneliness and universal emotions through timeless classics, allowing the authenticity of his voice and the raw, unadulterated music to resonate deeply within the listener. It is a celebration of words, feelings, and shared vulnerability.

Argentina, one of the most emblematic and exciting voices of flamenco contemporary, applauded for its timbre and quality of nuances, presents in
Flamenco in Soho (May 8, 20 pm) his show Flamenco by CantaoraThis artistic, profound, and moving journey explores the essence of flamenco through cantethat have shaped the history of this universal art. With her unmistakable personal style, the artist revives the palos most representative of flamencoFrom soleá to alegrías, including seguiriyas, marianas, verdiales, romance, bulerías, and so many more.
