El Puerto de Santa María, due to its history and its present, deserves a prominent place among the cradles of cante located in the Bay of Cádiz. The town has contributed some material jondo top-level, embodied in old corridos and siguiriyas closings, among other styles.

The excellent radio program presented and directed by our guest is, nowadays, a platform for artists from El Puerto and neighboring cities such as Cádiz, Jerez, Puerto Real, and San Fernando. The title 'Dairy Street' This reflects the importance of this road in housing a large part of the Roma community in El Puerto de Santa María.

For some years now, Javier Villar's space has established some awards for the dissemination of flamenco which are gaining great prestige. We discussed all of this at length with our colleague on the radio.
