With the title 'Conversations with the living history of the cante Jerez artist', the artist shared some passages and anecdotes from his extensive professional career. In an event that included the participation of journalist Fran Pereira, president of the Chair of Flamencology of Jerez and biographer of the singer in a work entitled 'De chipén, sin ojana' and published by Peripecias Libros.

Antonio Rodríguez 'El Gómez de Jerez' (Jerez, 1952) is living history of the cante Jerez native and is part of one of the most prolific generations of artists that the world has ever seen. flamenco from Jerez, the generation of 50. Among his prolific career, his membership as a singer in the company of the great Antonio Gades stands out, with whom he toured the world several times.

The event took place in the section of flamenco from the Ateneo de Jerez on May 15th. Our colleague Nano Hernández was there for us to enjoy this great interview.

Graduated in Law from the University of Cadiz and author of the books 'De Jerez y sus cantes', 'Manuel Soto Sordera, the elegance of the duende' and 'La Albarizuela: the third gypsy neighborhood and flamenco from Jerez'.
