The mayor of Seville, Jose Luis Sanz, has announced that the photographer Emilio Morenatti, winner of two Pulitzer Prizes, will be the author of the official poster for the XXIV Biennial of Flamenco of Sevilla, which will be held between September 9 and October 3, 2026.

In this sense, Mayor Sanz stressed that the choice of Morenatti "represents a declaration of intent from our city and from this Biennial. We are committed to a profound, committed, and universal perspective. Morenatti embodies excellence, sensitivity, and the ability to tell stories truthfully, values that also define the flamenco already Seville”.

Sanz added that "with their participation, the Biennial poster transcends the advertising format to become a true work of art, a symbol of Seville's strength and cultural identity. This municipal government is committed to projecting the Biennial to the world as what it is: an international benchmark for art, passion, and creativity."

With this choice, the Biennial of Flamenco from Seville reinforces its vocation of uniting tradition and contemporaneity, art and commitment, and to continue projecting to the world the talent and essence of flamenco as a living heritage of humanity.
