In the previous installment of this interview, we delved with our guest into the different facets of the poet and lyricist Antonio Gallardo Molina, his father. In this sequel, we continue along the same path, focusing on his decidedly mystical side, which permeated all his compositions. Lyrics that were sung by all the greats of the genre. flamenco and the copla, like Farina, La Paquera, Lola Flores or José Mercé… among others.

Juan Bosco Gallardo Quirós, a curator for the Andalusian Regional Government in Seville, guided us along the precise paths to better understand the life and work of his father, Antonio Gallardo. This comes as the centenary of his birth in the Albarizuela neighborhood of Jerez is being commemorated.
