CONTEST RULES
FIRST:
Registrations will be made via email to pflaperla@gmail.com until April 25, 2025, with registration open from the publication of this call.
To be registered, each participant must make a deposit, which will be returned on the day of the performance, in the amount of €100 to the following bank account:

The participant must attach the proof to the registration email.cante from the completion of the income.
SECOND:
The winner of the first prize in the alegrías dance category will not be able to participate in the next edition.
THIRD:
The competition will consist of two phases; from the pre-selection there will be THREE finalists of the Baile por Alegrías, and ONE finalist of the Baile Libre, who will be informed of their participation in the Grand Final, which will be held in the Patio del Niño Jesús in the second half of August 2025 (the date will be communicated with sufficient notice).

QUARTER:
The pre-selection phase will begin on May 9, 2.025 at 22:00 p.m., and will continue every Friday during the months of May and June, depending on the number of registered participants.
If necessary, it could be extended to a Saturday.
FIFTH:
Each and every contestant will be notified in advance of the date of their performance, and must be present at least ONE hour before their performance at the Headquarters of the Entity to draw the order of performance and return the €100 registration deposit.
SIXTH:
The non-appearance of the participant, without having communicated it 15 days prior to his/her performance, will be sufficient reason for his/her automatic disqualification.
SEVENTH:
The jury will be composed of people of recognized prestige and knowledge in the art to be judged and their decision will be final.
EIGHTH:
In order to contribute to the promotion of the Competition and in particular to support the decision of the members of the Jury, the participants accept, by the mere fact of their registration, the recording and dissemination of the images and sound of the same. All participants may request their recording on CD free of charge once the competition has ended.
NINTH:
Any conflict, discrepancy or alteration in the application of any of the rules indicated here will be resolved by the Board of Directors of the Peña.
TENTH:
The contestants will be required to first perform a “dance of joys of Cadiz” (which may not exceed 15 minutes in any case), and another one of the following: palos: Seguiriya, Soleá, Caña, Taranto, Serrana, Tangos, Farruca, Guajiras, Colombianas, Bulerías, etc. (which may not exceed 15
minutes).
The musical accompaniment of the participants will be the responsibility of the contestant himself.
ELEVENTH:
The established prizes are the following:
FIRST PRIZE:
* €3.000, diploma and statuette.
* A €1.000 contract with the entity.
* A 15-day contract at the prestigious Tablao
Flamenco “Cordoban” from Barcelona.
SECOND PRIZE:
* €2.000, diploma and statuette.
THIRD AWARD:
* €1.500, diploma and statuette.
FREE DANCE AWARD:
* €2.000, diploma and statuette.
The stipulated taxes will be applied to the amounts indicated.
TWELFTH:
Registration in the competition implies unconditional acceptance
of these bases.
