Ana Almagro, Ana Fargas and Isabel Guerrero, at the Art Biennial Flamenco from Malaga

La IX Art Biennial Flamenco from Malaga, organized by the Provincial Council, arrives in the Edgar Neville Auditorium of the provincial institution, in the Tomás Salas Theatre (Álora) and in the House of Culture of Almáchar.

The dancer from Malaga Anna Almagro premieres its new show on Thursday, June 12 at 20 p.m. at the Edgar Neville Auditorium. Ana Almagro x ELAMOR This is the proposal of this 26-year-old artist, who has been part of the cast of the National Ballet of Spain, directed by Rubén Olmo, since 2022. She previously belonged to the Ballet Flamenco of Andalusia.

Ana Almagro, who never ceases to surprise, will be accompanied by the singers José Luis Hernández, Rosario Heredia and Gabriel de la Tomasa, and by Montse Cortes, as a guest artist. The show is directed by Eduardo RiveroTickets can be purchased at whileentrance.net.

On Friday the 13th at 20 p.m., the singer Ana Fargas and the guitarist Paco Javier Jimeno premiere Fallen leaves at the Álora Theater, with the singer Anthony Soto and the actor Juan Jesús Luque, with free admission until full capacity is reached.

Fallen leaves It is the reinterpretation of the giants of the past, connecting the old with new forms in a continuous cycle of inspiration. They will show in two stages a broad tour of the different palos of the flamenco from the root of the cante jondo, passing through the branches until putting the accent on cantethat do not have much presence today, set to different guitar pieces and assembled with poetic texts with the pure touch of accompaniment to cante for its maximum expression and freedom of cante flamenco.

On Saturday the 14th at 21 p.m. in Almáchar, the Fuengirola native Isabel guerrero puts on stage Hairdresser, a flamenco work that takes shape around the echo of a voice that knew how to transcend in the cante flamenco and reach other spheres where he shone in a sovereign way. He is accompanied Andres Cansino to the guitar and Miguel Nene on percussion. He will be collaborating Angel Rayo 'Barquerito'.

Isabel Guerrero comes from a flamenco dynasty. Her father, Barquerito de Fuengirola, is the origin of a family that has garnered and achieved great acclaim. This artist has participated in other editions of the Art Biennial. Flamenco from Malaga.
