The El Viejo Agujeta Flamenco Gathering of Rota announces the celebration of the XLIII edition of Festival Flamenco The Rota Start invites the media to cover one of the great events of the summer flamenco.
The festival will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 22:00 p.m., in the courtyard of the Eduardo Lobillo School (Neptuno Street, 4, Rota).
The lineup will consist of Antonio Reyes, Rosario La Tremendita and José Canela cante; Vicente Santiago, Joselito Acedo and Juan Benjumea on guitar; and Juan Tomás de la Molía on dance, accompanied by Manuel de la Nina, José Pechuguita and Jesús Rodríguez.
The presentation will be the responsibility of Juan Garrido, from 7TV Andalucía and Radiolé.
As every year, attendees will be treated to the traditional lebrillito and the tasty Arranque Roteño.
