The Flamenco Cultural Association Las Cadenas calls a new meeting within its cycle Dialogues FlamencosIncluded in the program for the first four months of its second season, the event will take place in a dialogue format and will feature the participation of flamenco singer Antonio Rodríguez 'El Gómez de Jerez', accompanied by journalist and flamenco expert Fran Pereira.
Antonio Rodríguez 'El Gómez de Jerez' (Jerez, 1952) is part of one of the most prolific generations of flamenco From Jerez, the well-known generation of the 50s. His artistic career places him as one of the fundamental voices of cante from Jerez, especially highlighting his time as a singer in Antonio Gades' company, with whom he toured stages around the world in some of the most emblematic productions of contemporary Spanish dance.
The conversation will be guided by Fran Pereira, journalist, president of the Chair of FlamencoJerez logy and author of the singer's biography From chipén, without ojana, Published by Peripecias Libros.
