Amidst the ongoing debate about bringing forward the Christmas carol celebrations here in Jerez, we're approaching the final stretch of the last month of the year. It's a time for celebration and Christmas content, but also a good moment to reflect on the past twelve months. Due to the holidays and vacations, our schedule is a bit shorter than usual. But get ready, because we're launching the Jerez Christmas Special, the "Ruta del Duende" (Goblin Route), which you're going to love!

Tuesday, December 16nd, at 12:00 pm. Year-end review discussion flamenco of the Flamenco Cultural Association Las CadenasAn entity born from the drive of a good number of young people, undoubtedly a breath of fresh air for the associative fabric of flamencoWith its president Daniel Loma and some of its members, we will conduct an assessment of its first and successful year of existence.

Thursday, December 18th, at 12:00 pm. presentation documentary project ¡Zambomba!, under the direction of its director, Puela Lunaris, who will share with us the progress of this ethnographic series. A study that is the result of more than 20 years of research and audiovisual recordings. Our guest is the director of Flamenco Roots Program by Dances of the World Society in New York.

This Christmas we are launching a new Elf Route through Jerez with Christmas themes and a festive itinerary

Monday, December 22nd, at 6:00 PM. The Goblin Route through Jerez, Christmas SpecialA unique tour that highlights monuments, artists, and details throughout the city streets that symbolize or reflect Christmas in Jerez. We'll share Christmas carols, history, legends, and countless anecdotes. The tour lasts approximately 1,30 hours. At the end, we'll meet at our headquarters. Expoflamenco a will be done colloquium with tasting of wines and Christmas productsLed by José María Castaño. A guided tour, discussion, and tasting, all for €10. Limited spaces available. Tuesday, December 23nd, at 12:00 pm. Discussion with the Esenzia group that seeks to safeguard and defend the traditional Christmas tambourine In response to the diversification of our times, the group, with nine years of experience, focuses primarily on fostering participation, boasting a repertoire of over 85 Christmas carols. We will speak with two of its founding members, Jesús Ortega and Antonio Jesús García.

Hand in hand our teacher Marga Flores A new course has begun with a new schedule so you can learn flamenco dance in a pedagogical and authentic way. The course schedule will be as follows, except for holidays: Wednesday mornings from 11:00 to 12:15; Wednesday afternoons from 18:45 to 20:00; Friday afternoons from 17:30 to 18:45 (Sevillanas) / from 18:45 to 20:00 (Bulerías).
