La Fundación Cante of the Mines has awarded this year the Pencho Cros Award, in the form of Dissemination of the Flamenco, to the guitarist Antonio Carrion, who has just turned fifty years old exercising his passion with the guitar.

This recognition not only celebrates the guitarist's fifty-year career, but also recognizes his ongoing commitment to the transmission of his art. jondo, its depth in accompanying the cante and dance, his role as a popularizer, trainer and direct witness of the evolution of flamenco throughout his career.
