Born in Lorca (Murcia), our guest has just released her first solo album after some collaborations on other projects. 'Origin & Revolution' He has achieved a very well-structured work, ranging from the bare, classical soleá to the most contemporary guitar. Along the way, there is a sonic bridge in the form of a taranta, dedicated to Paco de Lucía.

Precisely, Mercedes Lujan is first female guitarist awarded by the SGAEIn composition work that bears the name of the Algeciras genius. During a break from his rehearsals, he kindly agreed to speak with us via video conference to discuss the details of this album, which features excellent collaborations. José Mercé, Arcángel, Rancapino chico o Jessi Estévez These are some of the artists who accompany Mercedes on this recording adventure that goes from the roots to modernity.
