Madrid surrenders to the allure of flamenco fashion at SIMOF

The fourth edition of SIMOF Madrid International Flamenco Fashion Week was held on October 30th and 31st at the Wellington Hotel & Spa Madrid. Forty-nine brands, both emerging and established, presented their flamenco-inspired fashion designs in ten scheduled runway shows, including the Málaga de Moda collective and the designers' and artisans' associations QLAMENCO and MOF&ART.

The fourth edition of the International Flamenco Fashion Week, SIMOF Madrid 2025The event, held on October 30 and 31, closed with resounding success in terms of audience and participation, reaffirming its position as the major flamenco fashion event and inspiration from the south in the capital.

During the two days held at the Wellington Hotel & Spa Madrid, about of the A thousand attendees enjoyed the ten parades, in which the following participated: 49 brands and designersYoung and established designers showcased some four hundred dresses. The event was attended by more than eighty accredited media outlets, confirming the growing interest in flamenco fashion in Madrid.

Among the highlights of this new edition of SIMOF Madrid was the integration, for the first time, into the official program of Madrid is Fashion, a platform powered by the Association of Fashion Designers of Spain (ACME), which represented an important step in recognizing flamenco fashion as designer fashion within the national circuit.

Opening Gala and Awards

The event opened with an exclusive fashion show Victorio & Lucchino, who presented their 2026 collection, Flapper's DreamInspired by the modern female figure of the 1920s. The awards ceremony followed. Awards Flamenco on the Skin, driven by Unicaja Foundation, who in this edition honored the flamenco singer Carmen Linares, the artist Antonio Fernández Montoya 'Farru', the journalist Sonsoles Onega, the designer, influencer and businesswoman Rocio Osorno and the former model Nuria GonzalezFurthermore, the journalist James Peñafaithful received the Premio Flamenco Honorary Skin, in recognition of his career and connection with the world of art and culture.

SIMOF Madrid 2025 Trends
