With this entry I start a new section in expoflamencoThe concept of photo chronicles is intended to be a visual and literary flash. A short allusive text, verse, or flamenco lyrics caption a unique photograph to interpret it at first glance. That is, a commentary on the photo in question, not on the show it depicts, although they could always be related in some way.

And what better way to start than with the flamenco mass in the open air that served as the opening of the cycle flamenco from Jerez and its Fridays FlamencosIt took place on July 25th in Plaza de Santiago with a huge audience. The artistic director was in charge of the Luis de Perikin, who had the participation of a cast formed by the choirs and cantes of Felipa del Moreno, Manuela, Dolores, Gema Carrasco, Manuela Fernández and Nono de Perikín. On the guitar, Manuel Jero and Luis de Perikín. The piano of Manuel Casado and the percussion of Juan Diego Valencia Jr.

And here is our photo chronicle that has the necessary cooperation of the photographer Stephen Abion and the allusive text of your servant. To be continued…
