The exclusive programming of the Gran Teatro during the celebration of the 44th edition of the Festival includes the first concert of the singer Vega on these stages, the group Las Migas, the voices of the blues Orianthi and Danielle Nicole Band, as well as The matter, the latest show by the dancer Olga Pericet

The Córdoba Guitar Festival is preparing an exclusive programme at the Gran Teatro with a diverse repertoire of female talent, ranging from the blues of American Danielle Nicole to Australian guitarist Orianthi, passing through the inseparable union of the six-string instrument with the voices of Cordoba's Vega or the award-winning group Las Migas. Likewise, Cordoba dancer Olga Pericet will be with the award-winning dance show The matter.

The Municipal Institute of Performing Arts (IMAE) is consolidating its commitment to include original artistic proposals created by women in one of the most emblematic performing arts spaces in the city. During the festival, the public will be able to enjoy national and international female talent with a mandatory stop in Córdoba.

The last artist confirmed in this line-up has been Vega from Cordoba, who will soon begin the tour of her latest album. IgnisTickets for this concert, which will take place on July 6 at the Gran Teatro, are on sale. Now on sale on the official IMAE website and the Guitar Festival. After two years of creative process, she presents what is perhaps one of her most ambitious projects, accompanied by producer Ricky Falkner. With this album she reaffirms herself as a multidisciplinary artist with an alternative and successful career thanks to her effort, perseverance and determination.

The first show of the Gran Teatro during the FGC will take place on July 3 with The matter, the second chapter of the trilogy that the dancer Olga Pericet began with La leona and that will culminate with The Invincible. This piece, which has the 2024 Max Award for Best Choreography, is inspired by the guitars of the legendary luthier Antonio de Torres with a look at the instrument from within. The matterPericet joins dancer and choreographer Daniel Abreu, also a National Dance Award winner, to co-direct, choreograph and perform a piece that transcends all labels.

The love you bleed is the title of the new album of Danielle Nicole Band, an invitation to explore love from different perspectives, which will be heard in Córdoba on July 5. With these lyrics he establishes himself as one of the most powerful voices of modern blues, harvesting eight Blues Music Awards during his career and becoming a member of the Kansas City Hall of Fame.

The stars of the concert on July 10 at the Gran Teatro will be the crumbs, a Spanish group whose music combines the flamenco with other styles, creating a unique atmosphere. They are currently immersed in the production of their latest album, which will be released in 2025. The group has garnered great recognition during their 20-year career, such as three nominations for the Latin Grammy in the category of Best Flamenco Music Album, winning the award in 2022. They have also won the MIN Award for the albums Four y Free.

Orianthi, an Australian guitarist who is a reference in the current blues and rock scene, will take the stage on July 11. This will be the first of three dates announced in Spain by this guitarist, who has worked with guitar legends such as Steve Vai, Joe Bonamassa and Carlos Santana; and was even chosen for Michael Jackson's This Is It tour.

Tickets for the concerts of the 44th edition of the Córdoba Guitar Festival are on sale at teatrocordoba.es, at the box office of the Córdoba Theaters during their usual hours and in the APP – IMAE – Theaters of Córdoba, available for IOS and Android.
