Murcia will once again become the epicenter of art flamenco with the celebration of the 33rd edition of Flamenco Summit Festivalwhich takes place between February 5 and 27, 2026. A well-established event on the national cultural calendar that combines renowned figures with new artistic languages. flamenco and a wide range of activities open to all citizens.
The official presentation of the festival included the participation of the Councillor for Culture of the Murcia City Council, Diego Avilés; the director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Manuel Cebrian; and, representing the participating artists, the flamenco dancer Lucia Campillo and the singer Antonio 'El Turry', along with the festival director.
The Murcia Flamenco Summit stands out, once again, as one of the festivals flamencowith the highest number of free activities, reaffirming its commitment to bringing the flamenco aimed at all audiences and transforming the city into a giant open-air stage throughout February. It will feature six shows in iconic locations such as the Rome Theater, the Circus Theater or Bernal Theatre, and eight parallel activities such as exhibitions, talks or book presentations.
One of the highlights of this edition will be the awarding of the Patriarch Award Flamenco 2026 to the guitarist Tomatito, an undisputed reference of flamenco contemporary and considered one of the best guitarists flamencoof all time. The artist will also offer a highly anticipated concert as part of the official program.
Among the most important shows are also The Farru, brother of Farruquito and one of the great figures of dance today flamenco; Angeles Toledano, one of the most avant-garde and promising flamenco singers of the moment; and the international show Loveflamenco, who arrives in Murcia after his successful tour of the United States and Mexico and his tour of the main stages of Spain.

The program is completed with recitals, stage performances and parallel activities that reinforce the plural, intergenerational and contemporary character of the festival, always maintaining a deep respect for the flamenco tradition.
The official poster for this 33rd edition has been created by the artist Pedro Serna, whose work provides a current and symbolic perspective on the universe flamenco, engaging with the cultural identity of the festival.
With this new edition, the Murcia City Council reaffirms its support for the Flamenco Summit as one of the Region's major cultural events. This festival is committed to artistic excellence, national and international reach, and free access to culture as its core principles.
