The International Flamenco Fashion Week (SIMOF), the leading event in the sector, co-organized by the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) and the Doble Erre Fashion and Communication Agency, has officially presented its 2026 edition at Las Setas in Seville. The event included a flamenco fashion performance in the heart of the city and a press conference in which the main features of the next edition were revealed, which will be held from Thursday, January 29 to Sunday, February 1, 2026 at FIBES and will feature a Exceptional godmother of honor: the actress Rossy de Palma.
The performance, conceived as a staging that has united craftsmanship, creativity and contemporary heritageThe event featured 14 models dressed in flamenco attire, who showcased designs created specifically for the occasion by designers participating in SIMOF 2026.
Each designer has presented a suit inspired by the color palette of this edition's official poster, which for the first time in SIMOF's history is an original painting by the artist from Jaén. Maria Tapia, transferring to the urban space the aesthetic and conceptual identity that will mark the next edition of the event.
The designers participated in the performance Atelier Rima, Aurora Gaviño, Carmen Latorre, Conso Delgado, Con TD´Touché, Gil Ortiz, Hermanas Serrano, José Joaquín Gil, Manuel Odriozola, Maricarmen Sáez Flamenca, Maricruz & Montecarlo since 1958, Pilar Vera, Sara de Benítez and Sonibel.
The press conference included Angie Moreno, Delegate for Tourism and Culture of the Seville City Council; Raquel Revuelta, Director of the Doble Erre Fashion and Communication Agency and creator of SIMOF; Pedro Parrilla, Managing Director of Las Setas de Sevilla; and Gema Domínguez, Head of Performing Arts at the Unicaja Foundation.
The presentation was attended by Antonio Castaño, managing director of FIBES; Antonio Miguel Enamorado, mayor of Lora del Río; Félix Romero, 3rd Vice President of the Provincial Council of Córdoba; sponsors, collaborators and designers who will be part of SIMOF 2026.

Angie MorenoThe delegate for Tourism and Culture of the Seville City Council, highlighted the importance of SIMOF as a cultural, creative and tourist engine for the city, as well as its contribution to the national and international projection of Seville linked to flamenco fashion:

Likewise, the Councillor for Tourism and Culture has highlighted the symbolic value of the presentation held at Las Setas in Seville as a reflection of the city's identity: “What we have experienced today is a A powerful image of Seville, capable of uniting tradition and modernity in the same scene. The flamenco and its aesthetic represents our roots, while spaces like this symbolize a contemporary, creative and innovative Seville, open to the world and internationally recognized.”
Similarly, Angie Moreno highlighted the role of flamenco fashion and crafts as essential elements of the city's cultural and economic narrative: “Flamenco fashion is culture, identity, and also economy. It's a network of talent that generates employment, boosts our creative businesses, and keeps alive crafts that are part of our heritage. That's why we say that SIMOF is much more than a fair or a catwalk: SIMOF is Seville, a meeting point where the city recognizes itself"It celebrates its creativity and proudly projects it outwards."
For its part, Raquel Revuelta, director of the Doble Erre Fashion and Communication Agency and creator and co-organizer of SIMOF, has highlighted the constant evolution of the event and its ability to continue growing and innovating without losing its essence:SIMOF continues to grow edition after edition without losing its identity. Our goal is to continue adding value to the flamenco fashion industry, generating new opportunities and opening spaces that continue to grow.”
In this regard, Raquel Revuelta also highlighted the cultural and collective value of the event, noting that “SIMOF is not just a fashion week: it is a creative community that, after more than three decades of history, It has succeeded in positioning flamenco fashion as a cultural industry, living heritage and economic engine from a sector that is a living source of inspiration.”
She also highlighted the concept behind this edition, stating that “SIMOF is the bridge between tradition and the future, between the artisanal roots that define us and the innovation that drives new generations of designers,” and emphasized the commitment to new formats with initiatives like INUSUAL SIMOF, which “was created to open SIMOF to new creative perspectives and offer a freer and more reflective space where flamenco fashion is reinterpreted and evolves.”

SIMOF 2026 is defined under the concept #SIMOFGenerationThis group represents those who have grown up with flamenco fashion as part of their lives: young people who learned to dream watching their favorite designers on the runway, families who sewed inspired by SIMOF, and new creators who today are transforming that legacy into innovation and a future. It is the generation that connects tradition and avant-garde, craftsmanship and creativity.
This approach is embodied in a manifesto that defines SIMOF as a bridge between flamenco heritage and new forms of creation, highlighting the craftsmanship, the trade and the ability of flamenco fashion to evolve without losing its roots.
Godmother of honor
This year, SIMOF 2026 will feature Actress Rossy de Palma, as godmother of honor, whose unique personality and connection with culture bring greater visibility to the major flamenco fashion event.
UNUSUAL SIMOF
Among the main new features of this edition is INUSUAL SIMOF, a new initiative that incorporates renowned designers into the program who will star in this space conceived as an exhibition experience that proposes a different look at flamenco fashion, focused on the creative processes and the identity of the creators.
Distinction Land of Flamenco Heritage
The 2026 edition will debut the Tierra de Herencia Flamenca (Land of Flamenco Heritage) distinction, an annual award with which SIMOF will recognize a municipality for its contribution to the preservation and promotion of flamenco fashion. In this first edition, the distinction will be awarded to Lora del Río (Seville), due to its historical and cultural connection with flamenco fashion.
Awards Flamenco on the Skin
SIMOF 2026 will host a new edition of the Awards Flamenco on the Skin, sponsored by the Unicaja Foundation, which will be awarded during The opening gala will be on Thursday, January 29th. In this edition, the awards will recognize Radio Sevilla, Cristina Heeren, Carmen Avilés, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada and Vanesa Martín for its contribution to the dissemination, preservation and projection of flamenco from different fields.

AfterWALK
Another new feature is SIMOF AfterWALK, the official after-work event which will bring each day to a close at the Only You Hotel. Conceived as a meeting place, it will feature music and an exclusive gastronomic offering, bringing together designers, guests, and the attending public.
More than 1.550 outfits in 52 parades
Over four days, SIMOF 2026 will present more than 1.550 outfits in a total of 52 fashion shows, held in two venues. The main venue will feature 92 brands, in addition to 20 other brands. the +FLAMENCO space, until gathering around 120 signatures.
The program will include individual, shared, and collective parades, with a prominent presence of territorial parades. Huelva, Malaga and Almeria, as well as the participation of the Qlamenco Association, reinforcing the plural and representative character of the sector.
El Young Flamenco Fashion Designers Competition, sponsored for the first time by the Provincial Council of Córdoba, Through Córdoba de Moda, committed to supporting new talent, the event will be held Friday, January 30th, at 10:00 a.m., in the main space.
Also, the Aromas Crea Award, awarded this year to the firm Miabril, and the Aromas Award for Best Model, the Sunday, February 1st at 15:00 PM.
In this edition of SIMOF 2026, the label of the special edition of the Marqués de Cáceres bottleCreated for the International Flamenco Fashion Week, it is inspired by a design by Antonio Gutiérrez and has been illustrated by Virginia Vargas.
Hall 1: Dedicated to professional designers, it will host 31 fashion shows: 20 individual, 7 shared, and 4 collective.
Puesta in escena
The SIMOF 2026 designers' catwalk, located in the FIBES Pavilion 1It will have a structure of 24 meters in length and 3,5 meters in width, with a high-gloss black Formica floor, as well as a central screen 8,5 meters high by 7 meters wide, equipped with a central opening 4 meters wide and a top lifting system, which will allow for a more dynamic and versatile staging.
The parade area will have a capacity for 1.000 peopledistributed in tiers, and will have a extended backstage, designed to offer greater comfort and functionality to models, stylists, makeup artists, hairdressers, wardrobe managers and production teams, among other professionals involved.
SIMOF Dances
SIMOF Baila will be held on Thursday, January 29th and Sunday, February 1st space +FlamencoUnder the artistic direction of Álvaro Méndez, reaches its ninth edition and will host 14 dance shows varied and full of color, coming from different Andalusian provinces.
The public can enjoy flamenco, contemporary, modern, and urban dance performances. Admission to SIMOF Baila is included with entry to the commercial area.
Shopping area
With 10.000 m² of exhibition space on a single level, the SIMOF 2026 commercial area will feature more than 100 exhibitors dedicated to Andalusian crafts, fashion and culture.
SIMOF 2026 will feature representatives from the Andalusian provincial councils from Almería, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén and Málaga.

SIMOF, an event in constant growth
SIMOF is the premier international flamenco fashion event. In its 2025 edition, the event saw a 7% increase in visitors, reaching 60.000 people. It featured 49 fashion shows, the participation of over one hundred designers, and the presentation of approximately 1.600 designs. The 10.000 m² commercial area hosted more than 100 exhibitors and accredited 300 media professionals.
With this data, SIMOF faces its 2026 edition reaffirming its role as an international benchmark for flamenco fashion, a cultural and economic engine and a meeting place between tradition, creativity and the future.
